Cage Fitness

 

Cage Fitness is a complete workout program that is designed to cater to people at all levels of fitness. Cage Fitnessâ„¢ is based on the structure of a championship MMA bout. What this means is that Cage Fitnessâ„¢ will give you a total body workout in just 5 – 5 minute rounds.There are four key elements that are focused on: endurance, strength, power and core. This is accomplished through the 5 round fitness system which is broken up into the following categories: Warm Up, Upper Body, Lower Body, Combo Round and Cool Down/Core.

 

The best part about Cage Fitnessâ„¢ is that an individual can customize their workout by adjusting their intensity level to best suit their personal fitness goals. Each 5 minute round incorporates both aerobic and anaerobic exercises that will help maximize fat burning while also gaining muscle. This system of training allows the participant to burn more calories while increasing their metabolism.

 

Cage Fitnessâ„¢  is not a martial art. There is no contact. It is a fitness program based on the training of professional MMA fighters. MMA participants are considered by most to be accomplished athletes who have obtained the highest levels of fitness. We have modified some of their training techniques to create this fitness program. Cage Fitnessâ„¢ will get people into the best shape without having to train in MMA. 

Kettlebell Fitness

 

WARNING! Group kettlebell training is fun and addictive, you will never go back to aerobic classes again!

 

Kettlebell training offers some of the most complete, efficient, and effective performance results available. Due to the high intensity and ballistic movements you can increase your strength, conditioning and explosive power all while burning fat.  We focus on the development of strength endurance, coordination, balance, joint health and increased flexibility.  A typical Kettlebell workout consists of a variety of calisthenics, plyometrics, agility drills, and functional strength training. The format utilized in each class allows clients from all levels of fitness to train simultaneously and get a tremendous workout!

 

Additionally, we understand that a person may not be able to do certain exercises because of an injury or mobility restrictions. We will semi-customize this person's training in the class to ensure they work around injuries, etc. and have a full experience.  

Boot Camps

 

Fitness Boot Camp is a new and innovative way to get in shape while having fun. No, this is not "military boot camp" with screaming sergeants! This is a fitness bootcamp where all sessions are taught by Certified Fitness Professionals. The boot camp program works so well because we keep it interesting and fun.  One day you might be pulling a tire, another you might be playing tug-of-war, and another you might be trying to bring down the person with the sand bag (you have to be there).

 

We run our bootcamps here at the academy and sometimes we take advantage of the beautiful weather and train outside. Workouts are designed to increase your strength, endurance, cardiovascular condition, self esteem, and overall physical condition. All of these areas are improved while having fun and making good friends!
